“Coming to the Vallejo Naval & Historical Museum beginning June 5: “I Live the Life I Love Because I Love the Life I Live: A Celebration of Trans People of Color” presented by the Louise Lawrence Transgender Archive curated by Ms. Bob Davis SF Pride 2026 Community Grand Marshal
Join us on June 12 at 6:00 pm for the opening reception and Pride flag raising ceremony sponsored by the Vallejo Gay Network.
Co-presented with the GLBT Historical Society, “I Live the Life I Love Because I Love the Life I Live” is an exhibition that shines a spotlight on the resilience, creativity, and cultural impact of Black, Latinx, Asian, and Pacific Islander trans and gender-nonconforming people.
Featuring studio portraits, candid photographs, activist materials, and self-portraits, the exhibition explores both everyday life and performance as sites of identity.”
